Story/Rhyme Time

Join the Independence Public Library for Rhyme Time and Story Time on Thursdays this September!
Rhyme Time is a great way for babies to learn early literacy skills in an interactive lap-sit program with their parent or caregiver.

Story Time gives children ages 2-5 years old a change for fun with books and creativity, with a new theme each week.

Rhyme Time Begins at 9:30 AM every Thursday when the library opens. This program is best suited for babies and toddlers, but older siblings waiting for Story Time are welcome to attend.

Story Time follows directly behind Rhyme Time at 10:00 AM every Thursday. Parents are encouraged to stay and play; and afterward a craft or coloring will be provided.

September Story Time Themes Are:

September 3rd      Welcome Back
September 10th    ABC School Days
September 17th    Pirates
September 24th    Falling into Autumn
