City Council Meeting 6:30 PM in the Council Chambers at City Hall - Independence city council meetings are held every second and third Monday of the month.

Games'n'Goodies 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM – Fun and games for Adults in the IPL Community Room. No registration necessary.
Family LEGO Night 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM – Creative enjoyment for all ages in the IPL Community Room. No registration needed, just come with the whole family for fun.

IPL Goes Bananas! Join the Independence Public Library in celebration of Curious George author, H. A. Rey’s Birthday!
H. A. Rey's Birthday! - Come to the library and celebrate with a free banana! (while supplies last)
Wild Wednesday: Geology Rocks with Play-doh! 3:30 PM to 5:00 PM – Children of all ages are invited to join us for some educational fun with the Alexia Hamlett. (Best suited for children in grades K-5)
iTAB Meeting 6:30 PM – Teens who would like to get involved with the IPL can join us in the Community Room

Rhyme Time 9:30 AM to 9:50 AM in the IPL's Community Room - A lap-sit program to learn early literacy skills for babies and parents or caregivers.
Story Time 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM in the IPL's Community Room - Stories and fun for children ages 2 to 5.
