Don't Forget The Food!

Remember this month if Amnesty Month, so there are only a few days left to bring in food for your fines. February 28th is the last day that the IPL will take off a dollar of fines for every food item you bring in.
If you prefer to pay your fines in cash, the money will still benefit the Independence Area Food Pantry until the end of February.
Be sure to stop in. Saturday will be here faster than you think.

February Is Amnesty Month!

February is Amnesty Month here at the IPL! If you have some fines to take care of on your account, you can clear them away anytime in February with food donations. For every nonperishable food item you bring into the library, we will remove $1.00 in fines. If you don't have fines and would like to donate food items anyway, the library would be happy to take those food items as well. All the food collected during the month of February will benefit the Independence Area Food Pantry. Free your self from fines and help fight hunger with the Independence Public Library.
